Thanks
A fond Christmas wish to all those people
who are here to serve the sick, elderly and any in need
For those moments when you are most stressed
We should stop and say "thank you" for helping me
It brightens my day to see a nurse smile
Knowing that all thanks are saved until we are discharged
As you care for my hurt body, while I mend
Set my broken bones until I'm whole again
A nurse is the last barrier between life and death
The sadness that you feel, when someone dies during your shift
Does not compare to the thime that the patients
have llived and come back to say "thank you"
For in many ways a nurse is a Special Mother!!!
Caring for her children with loving tenderness
As they get over their illness and grow stronger
A mothers tender hand is always there
For us to hold in our moments of need.
One last thank you to those who serve
A public to the best of their ability
May you have a Merry Christmas
and A Joyus New Year
