Peace
The sun rises, the dawn of a beautiful day
birth of new hope, a new beginning
as I join society seeking new goals
a child must learn to crawl
to progress through life
Expecting everything on a silver platter
which was the downfall of myself
I lost all that I cherished
A wonderful woman that loved me
that meant the world to me
Now I rebuild my makeup
to try to reclaim all that I lost
My sanity, Happines, Love
Nothing tried, nothing gained in life
A step to start life over again
Maybe one day your step
will once again travel with mine
I need the peace that you brought
Could you help me find it again??
