Your memory still lives

and all the gentleness it held

Through the years I always wondered
What would have become of us
If we would've continued to love
the years past, we lost contact
only to find you engaged and pregnant
The hope I had for a new us
Quietly died and back to my memories
of our past, you went

Last time you brought New Hope
to a lost soul in need of help
with your help, we fell in love
a love for so long had not died
The only problem that we had
was soon fixed by our choices
You came to my house to say "hello"
you left saying "I love you"
now only years and years to live
To see if we were meant
